Jill Pargeter Linen Snowman Hanging Decoration

These festive hanging decorative figures are handmade from linen and finished with small, ringing bells. Each linen figure is hand-sewn and filled with wadding and fragrant, seasonal spices.

Jill Pargeter Artist's Statement:

"I have been working as a printmaker and designer for over thirty years after studying printed textiles at Manchester Polytechnic. All of my work is handmade to my original designs from printing, stitching and finishing the final pieces.

My work is inspired by folk art and the Arts & Crafts Movement and it combines my love of history, nature and poetic verse. My designs are hand drawn and then screen printed onto fabrics from which I produce a range of decorative objects for the home."
