Jill Pargeter Dog Embroidery Kit

This embroidery kit gives everyone the chance to bring a touch of the handmade into their home. Suitable for beginners, these kits include an original Jill Pargeter design printed on pure linen fabric as well as all the materials and instructions you need. You will use a range of basic stitches following the illustrated instructions provided and a full size colour print of the finished design with stitch guide is also included.

Embroidery kit contains:

• 1 printed linen fabric design (25 cm x 25 cm)
• 1 6" embroidery hoop
• 5 or 6 lengths of DMC cotton thread
• 2 needles
• 1 needle threader
• 1 extra winding card for spare threads
  
• embroidery stitch guide with full instructions and a full colour photo of finished embroidery

Jill Pargeter Artist's Statement:

"I have been working as a printmaker and designer for over thirty years after studying printed textiles at Manchester Polytechnic. All of my work is handmade to my original designs from printing, stitching and finishing the final pieces.

My work is inspired by folk art and the Arts & Crafts Movement and it combines my love of history, nature and poetic verse. My designs are hand drawn and then screen printed onto fabrics from which I produce a range of decorative objects for the home."
