Cath Jeannot's handmade bowls showcase the unpredictable beauty of multi-glaze ceramics.

By layering multiple glazes and firing twice, she creates pieces where chemistry becomes art - eutectic reactions cause glazes to flow and blend in ways no two bowls can replicate. The result: lava-like flows, watery waves, and molten crystalline surfaces that emerge from controlled experimentation and creative risk. Each wheel-thrown bowl is utterly individual. 

Cath Jeannot is a potter, a wine lover and an activist. Ceramics became a part of her life and therapy during lockdown in rural France. Since returning to the UK, she has become a member at Kiln Cambridge, a collaborative open studio for members. Having trained in Cape Town and Begerac, she brings an international array of influences to her work.

These wheel-thrown bowls can be used for anything from nuts to salt, from earrings to spices.
