Hand-made Pinch Pots by Cath Jeannot
Hand-made Pinch Pots by Cath Jeannot
Cath Jeannot is a potter, a wine lover and an activist. Ceramics became a part of her life and therapy during lockdown in rural France. Since returning to the UK, she has become a member at Kiln Cambridge, a collaborative open studio for members. Having trained in Cape Town and Begerac, she brings an international array of influences to her work.
Jeannot was a featured artist in the pop-up ceramics showcase “Out of the Kiln“ (David Parr House, 2025). This series of pinch pots for David Parr House celebrates the philosophy of beauty in the small things, and sustainable reuse. Jeannot creates these pots using recycled porcelain and rough clays to produce delicate pieces that for perfectly into one’s hand.
These bowls can be used for anything from nuts to salt, from earrings to spices.
