Jill Pargeter Strawberry Thief Rectangular Linen Cushion

These cushions are hand printed in black on pure linen with a matching coloured linen back panel. The cushions have a generous feather filling with a concealed zip so that the cover can be removed.

Jill Pargeter Artist's Statement:

"I have been working as a printmaker and designer for over thirty years after studying printed textiles at Manchester Polytechnic. All of my work is handmade to my original designs from printing, stitching and finishing the final pieces.

My work is inspired by folk art and the Arts & Crafts Movement and it combines my love of history, nature and poetic verse. My designs are hand drawn and then screen printed onto fabrics from which I produce a range of decorative objects for the home."
